In the early 1960s, Kenner introduced its corporate mascot, The Kenner Gooney Bird, which would be used in both its company logo ( "It's Kenner! It's fun!") and TV ads, in both animated form and puppetry. It was a pioneer in the use of television advertisement for the marketing of merchandise across the United States, beginning in 1958.

The company was named after the street where the original corporate offices were located, just north of Cincinnati Union Terminal. Kenner was founded in 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio, by brothers Albert, Phillip and Joseph L. The company was closed by its corporate parent Hasbro in 2000. Throughout its history, the Kenner brand produced several highly recognizable toys and merchandise lines including action figures like the original series of Star Wars, Jurassic Park and Batman as well as die cast models. I have literally no idea where to start with model lighting so i'd rather leave it to the professionals.Kenner Products, known simply as Kenner, was an American toy company founded in 1946. Therefore the spaces have been left to allow the inclusion of light bricks/studs. Both of these moves were intentional because one of the most striking things about this Batmobile in the films was the neon lit effect. You will probably notice if you decide to build this model that there is a 1x1 brick sized hole on either side and the front end that holds the bat symbol could have been done a different way.

They are by no means going to damage any pieces and do not cause any issues structurally but it is just something to be aware of. There is some slight stress applied to the pieces around the blades on the sides and around the wings on the back. Unfortunately i didn't find it possible to fit as much detail in as i originally wanted, because the real thing has blades on all 3 points of the nose that i just couldn't find a solution for, so i ended up going for a more toy like design based on some of the old Kenner toys. The blades on the side were my starting point and i just worked around them. I wanted to make sure i got the shaping right as it is an unusual vehicle to say the least. This MOC easily accommodates a figure and is on a similar scale to the Batmobile in the Joker Pursuit set and the 1989 GWP. Arguably the worst film in the series but you've got to admit "Chicks dig the car".
